Walt Disney World’s Frozen attraction at Epcot is making strides to become a reality.

The attraction, which will be a meet and greet between the Mexico and Norway pavilions, was issued a permit from the South Florida Water Management District for the construction and operation of a project encompassing 1.08 acres of space at Epcot.

In January, Disney submitted files to the district for a new 13,000-square-foot building “that will house a Disney guest attraction and a women’s restroom.” The new attraction, and many others like this, help draw more tourists to Central Florida, giving a boost to the region’s travel industry.

Disney also is working on another Frozen-themed attraction in the Norway pavilion, including the future replacement of the Maelstrom ride.
