Walt Disney World’s transformation of Downtown Disney into the new Disney Springs may bring some critically acclaimed restaurants to the shopping-dining-entertainment district.
According to Orlando food blogger Scott Joseph, some of the big-name restaurants in the running to be added to the Disney Springs lineup include:
Morimoto, a Japanese/sushi restaurant by Chef Masaharu MorimotoSTK, a modern steakhouseThe Edison, an invention-era restaurantThe Boathouse, a concept from the creators of Rainforest Cafe.
New upscale and critically acclaimed restaurants to the area add more dining options and shine a spotlight on Orlando’s culinary prowess. New restaurants also create jobs and opportunities for local suppliers as well as construction firms.
