Paris, France – Disney•Pixar’s 2007 movie Ratatouille is about a rat with exceptional culinary skills who finds himself the head chef at Paris’ most famous restaurant through an unlikely partnership with the dishwasher. Starting this summer at Disneyland Paris, guests will able to be share in Remy’s adventures through what is being described as a “major new attraction and mini-land” inspired by the Oscar-winning movie.

The new attraction will be called Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy – Ratatouille: The Totally Zany Adventures of Remy. Guests will be shrunk down to rat size and follow Remy and his friends on their adventures through Gusteau’s restaurant, including the kitchen, dining room and through the walls, all while trying to escape Chef Skinner, the current owner of Gusteau’s. The experience is said to be immersive and a first of its kind Disney attraction.

A corner of the Toon Studio area of the park will be transformed into Remy’s Paris. This mini-land will include the attraction and Chez Marianne Souvenirs de Paris, a merchandise location. It will also include a new table service restaurant, Bistrot Chez Rémy. Like the attraction, the restaurant will be rat-scaled. Best of all, diners can feast on the famous dish from the film, ratatouille. This is a first of its kind restaurant across the Disney properties world-wide.

Ratatouille will mark the fourth Disney•Pixar attraction to be placed at Disneyland Paris. The attractions and mini-land is expected to open sometime this summer.
